• Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester with strong understanding of ETL and relational databases, combined with domain knowledge in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting insurance data initiatives across finance system applications. Key Responsibilities : Solutions & Assurance - Design and deliver solutions that meet Client’s standards for availability, security, resilience, and performance. Analyze business and functional requirements specific to P & C insurance products (e.g., personal auto, commercial auto, personal property, commercial property). Design and execute manual test cases for applications testing by coordinating with SME’s and developers. Strong SQL knowledge: Essential for querying and validating data across different databases and systems. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres etc.). Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts including policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting. Perform functional, regression, integration, backend and UAT testing. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure test coverage and quality. Identify and document defects using tools like JIRA work with development teams for resolution. Conduct API and backend testing (sql) to validate data integrity and system integrations. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience : 3–6+ years of experience in ETL testing for Datawarehouse and Data mart applications Strong domain knowledge of P &C insurance including underwriting, rating, billing, and claims. Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management. Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced insurance environment. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying issues and improvements. Qualifications : Nice to have Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium,) 3+ years of ETL testing experience with any of the ETL tools . Knowledge of state-specific P & C insurance regulations. Knowledge CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with SQL tools like running queries
