  • Position Title: Data Scientist (Machine Learning) Location: Canada (Remote) Hire Type: Fulltime CAD125K Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Data Scientist with a strong background in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in applying machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems, with a specific focus on Pega Data Science. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to enhance business processes and decision making. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Utilize Pega Data Science tools to analyze data and derive actionable insights. Conduct experiments and validate models to ensure accuracy and reliability. Monitor and maintain existing models, making improvements as necessary. Document processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing within the team. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and data science. Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Pega Data Science (PCDS) is a deal breaker. Strong programming skills in Python and/or R. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit learn. Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with SQL and database management. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools. Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 5 7 years of relevant experience in machine learning and data science. Proven experience in software development and deployment of machine learning models. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
