Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on bakery machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on bakery equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with bakery machinery, including mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
Install, dismantle, and relocate bakery machinery as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair activities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in bakery equipment technology.

Requirements:

Completion of a millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Millwright in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and other control systems commonly used in bakery machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Valid millwright license/certification and driver’s license required.
