Requirements: Completion of a millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Millwright in a bakery or food manufacturing environment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Strong knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and other control systems commonly used in bakery machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed. Valid millwright license/certification and driver's license.

Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance tasks on bakery equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with bakery machinery such as mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging equipment. Install, dismantle, and relocate bakery machinery as needed. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair activities. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory of spare parts. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in bakery equipment technology.
