What You'll Do:
- Strategic Collaboration: Actively collaborate on project planning, prioritization, and solution design, ensuring a clear understanding of the core business problem and maintaining focus on desired outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Requirements Management: Work closely with business stakeholders to define, document, and manage comprehensive business requirements, effectively translating them into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
- Agile Optimization: Create, monitor, and continuously review sprint plans, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization to enhance team efficiency and project velocity.
- Facilitation & Communication: Organize and lead effective working sessions and project update meetings, fostering clear communication and alignment across various levels of the organization.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Foster strong collaborative relationships with both business and technical team members to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential project issues and roadblocks, developing and implementing effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide valuable feedback and practical recommendations for ongoing project and process improvements, contributing to a culture of excellence.
What You'll Bring (Top Capabilities):
- Guidewire Policy Center Expertise: Must be Guidewire Policy Center Ace Certified.
- Scrum Team Experience: 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst (BSA) experience working hands-on within Agile Scrum teams.
- Personal Insurance Acumen: 3+ years of direct experience working within the personal insurance domain.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master is a strong asset.
- Prior experience working on Digital Implementations is a significant advantage.
- Experience with Conversion Projects is considered an asset.
- CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation preferred, or demonstrable strong insurance industry knowledge.
