  Summary

  As a Platform Engineer Lead specializing in Hadoop, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing robust data solutions that leverage big data technologies. Reporting to the Data Engineering Manager, you will utilize your core skills in SQL and Python, alongside premium skills in AWS and Spark, to optimize data workflows. Your expertise in database design and analytics will drive strategic insights for the organization. With a focus on collaboration and agile methodologies, you will lead a team to enhance our data infrastructure and support critical business objectives.

  Responsibilities -

  · Provide technical leadership technical support to customers and internal teams for Data integration & Visualization platforms Administration (Hadoop/Cloudera Admin with some knowledge / experience on Snowflake / AWS Admin activities etc).

  · Investigate and troubleshoot software issues reported by users, identify causes, and implement effective solutions.

  · Collaborate with developers and QA teams to test and validate software fixes and enhancements.

  · Create and maintain documentation related to application support processes, known issues, and resolutions.

  · Debug application code to resolve the issue or share workaround

  · Document all resolutions into SOP/KEDB

  · Work on Problem management and root cause analysis of recurring tickets

  · Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent issues outside regular business hours.

  · Proactively identify areas for improvement in application performance, reliability, and user experience.

  Skills looking for

  Primary : Hadoop/Cloudera Admin

  Secondary : Snowflake/AWS Admin

  Job Type: Full-time

  Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

  Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  Work Location: In person
