Job Description

    • Overview:
    • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions of work to be performed.
            • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, plywood, and other building materials.
        • Construct, erect, install, and repair building frameworks and structures, including foundations, walls, floors, roofs, and staircases.
        • Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
        • Build scaffolding and other temporary structures.
        • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes and regulations.
        • Estimate costs and materials.
        • Maintain, repair, and renovate existing structures.
        • Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools.
        • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
        • Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors.  
      • Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter.
    • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.  
        • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
        • Excellent math skills and ability to take accurate measurements.
        • Solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
        • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
        • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
        • Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.  
        • Valid driver's license.
