Overview
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating innovative applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of system architecture and user experience design.
Duties
- Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting applications in an enterprise environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.
- Experience with Oracle Database 10g/11g/12c/19c or higherExperience with Oracle Forms 11g/12c development or higherExperience with Oracle Reports 10g/11g development or higher
- Experience with software development processes, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, and policies.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, Unix, SolarisExperience working with Oracle PL/SQL development
- Experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.
- Experience using AutoSys Workload Automation as well as creating/scheduling jobs
- Experience with developing or maintaining applications involving Corporate and Commodity Tax Programs
- Experience with Linux/UnixExperience with Oracle Database development
- Experience with large heavily integrated financial applications involving online, interfaces, batch processing and multiple tiers of executions.
- Write, modify, integrate and test code in Oracle Forms 10g/11g/12c or higher
- Write, modify, integrate and test code in Oracle PL/SQLWrite, modify, integrate and test code in Oracle Reports 10g/11g/12c or higher
