Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices and ensure the successful delivery of projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote collaboration, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement in our software development processes. Your leadership will be critical in guiding teams through the Agile methodology, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Duties
- Active professional Scrum Master certification (PSM). Please attach certificate.
- Experience in coaching teams on Agile methodologies, facilitating agile ceremonies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
- Experience leading and facilitating key agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, stand-ups, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Experience working within an agile development environment.
- Experience delivering training sessions via web-based interactive technology i.e. TEAMs.
- Experience planning work that aligns to product owner priorities (Sprint planning and backlog planning).
- Experience with Agile backlog management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with software development processes and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools and policies.
- Experience working in or for the public sector.
- Experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches.
