We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Welder Operator to set up, operate, and maintain robotic welding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated welding systems, an eye for quality, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate robotic welding machines to fabricate parts and assemblies according to production specifications.
- Set up welding robots by loading programs, adjusting parameters, and preparing fixtures and materials.
- Inspect welds for quality using visual and measuring tools; ensure conformity to
- specifications and standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machine cycles and part flow to maintain efficient operation and meet production quotas.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding or robotics preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing
- environment.
- Familiarity with robotic systems such as Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints and use welding gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.
- Basic understanding of welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, spot welding).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Exposure to noise, heat, and welding fumes in a manufacturing setting.
