We are seeking an accomplished Program Manager – Data to lead strategic data transformation initiatives in the insurance and financial sectors. This senior leadership role demands a proven track record in delivering large-scale, multi-million-dollar data programs from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will oversee enterprise-level data warehouse, data lake, and data visualization projects while managing executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale strategic data transformation programs in insurance/financial domains.
- Manage program scope, integrated project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with architecture teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee change control, quality assurance, and cost management processes.
- Produce clear, executive-level program reports and maintain governance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; PMP certification required.
- 15+ years in program/project management, with budgets exceeding $10M.
- Proven delivery of strategic data transformation initiatives in insurance or financial services.
- Hands-on with data warehouse, data lake, and visualization projects.
- Government sector project experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with SAS, IBM, Informatica, Microsoft, AWS, Qlik and PM tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
