About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Setup/Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with Amada brake presses and possess advanced skills in machine setup, programming, and bend allowance calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada brake press machines for production runs.
- Program the brake press according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
- Calculate bend allowances accurately to ensure precision in manufacturing.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up brake press machines.
- Preferred: Experience with Amada brake press equipment.
- Strong knowledge of machine programming and bend allowance calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
- Afternoon shift schedule: (Specify start and end times, e.g., 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM) .
