  We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting surveillance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

  Responsibilities

  • · Successfully function as lead incident responder for Cyber Security alerts by tapping into your knowledge of the current threat landscape and remediation strategies for a large enterprise environment.

  · Directly support operations through your specialized knowledge in defense topics.

  · Identify, make, and maintain working relationships across the business lines and support teams.

  · Support evaluation of new Cyber Security Operations solutions.

  · Support other global projects within the CIRC in areas such as Forensics, Malware Reversing, Threat Intelligence, etc

  · Please note: The nature of this position is a technical security function, not a compliance function.

  Qualifications

  • · University degree (or college) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or programming, and/or

  2+ years working experience in Cyber Security or software engineering in a corporate, military, or public sector.

  · GCIH, or GCFA, or GPYC plus any SIEM accreditation

  · Practical experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR to resolve incidents.

  · The passion to see processes and procedures as an opportunity for improvement, tuning and further development.

  · Self-motivated, with the ability to determine the best course of action to identify and implement solutions that optimize existing manual activities.

  · Honest and professional, able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence and collaboration.

  · English fluent; German will be a plus.

  Job Type: Fixed term contract

  Contract length: 12 months

  Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

  Expected hours: 40 per week
