We are looking for a passionate and experienced Italian Chef to join our culinary team and lead the preparation of authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine. From fresh pasta to wood-fired pizzas, you’ll bring traditional Italian flavors to life while adding your creative touch to our evolving menu.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes (pasta, risotto, pizzas, meats, etc.)
- Design and update seasonal Italian menus in collaboration with management
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and kitchen standards
- Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and oversee operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Source and select high-quality ingredients, including imported Italian products
- Control inventory, reduce waste, and maintain cost efficiency
- Train junior kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Italian Chef (minimum 3-5 years preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine and cooking methods
- Experience in menu planning and kitchen management
- Culinary degree or professional chef certification is an asset
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Fluent in English; Italian language is a bonus
