This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence in Toronto for collaboration and delivery as needed.
We are seeking an experienced OpenText AppWorks Developer for a hybrid role based in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying solutions using OpenText Process Suite, with hands-on experience in enterprise content management and integration technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to design solutions using OpenText AppWorks
- Lead or contribute to the development, configuration, and deployment of AppWorks applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of project milestones
- Create detailed design documents, operational guides, and deployment manuals
- Ensure adherence to internal standards, best practices, and compliance requirements
- Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues to project or program leadership
- Deliver high-quality solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for existing AppWorks solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with OpenText AppWorks / Process Suite (design, development, deployment, and configuration)
- Working knowledge of OpenText OTDS, Content Server, and related products (e.g., Documentum, D2)
- Strong proficiency with XML, SQL, SOA, and object-oriented programming concepts
- Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST web services
- Understanding of network architecture, enterprise integration, and related infrastructure
- Familiarity with OpenText BPM and associated process automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative development team
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
