Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electronic Locksmith to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of locking systems for residential, commercial, and automotive clients. An active ADAM's certificate is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair various mechanical and electronic lock systems
- Rekey locks, duplicate keys, and adjust door hardware
- Handle emergency lockouts (home, business, vehicle) in a timely manner
- Evaluate existing security setups and recommend improvements
- Maintain detailed service records and inventory reports
- Operate key-cutting machines and hand tools with precision
- Deliver professional customer service at every job site
- Adhere to safety procedures and local compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Valid ADAM’s Certificate (Required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of locksmith experience
- Strong working knowledge of traditional and modern locking systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to on-call/emergency requests
- Must pass background screening if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal locksmith training
- Experience with access control, smart electronic locks, and security systems
- Familiarity with safes and vault servicing
