We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker and Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in designing, crafting, assembling, and installing high-quality cabinetry for commercial and residential spaces, excluding kitchen cabinetry. The candidate must possess expert knowledge in woodworking techniques, precision measurements, and various materials.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine specifications, dimensions, and materials required.
- Craft and assemble cabinetry including wardrobes, office cabinets, storage units, entertainment centers, and custom furniture.
- Use woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately.
- Ensure that finished products meet strict quality and design standards.
- Perform onsite installation ensuring precision alignment and secure mounting.
- Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver custom solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Address onsite challenges proactively, ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cabinet making and installation (non-kitchen cabinetry).
- Expert knowledge of woodworking equipment, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and specifications accurately.
- Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physically fit, able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with various wood finishes and treatments.
- Familiarity with CAD software for cabinet design.
- Ability to mentor and train junior team members.
