We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Scrum Master with over 10 years of total experience, including strong expertise in leading Agile teams within telecom digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of all core Scrum practices, demonstrated experience in PI Planning, and a proven ability to drive Agile delivery in complex, cross-functional environments. Prior experience supporting major telecom clients in a digital context is highly desirable. Scrum certification is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, specifically for digital transformation projects.
- Lead and guide PI Planning sessions, effectively managing dependencies across multiple digital feature teams.
- Drive the adoption and adherence to Agile best practices, actively supporting product delivery, and proactively removing impediments to team progress.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and various cross-functional teams within a dynamic telecom digital environment.
- Champion Agile maturity, foster team ownership, and promote continuous delivery across the program.
- Monitor and report on team performance using relevant Agile KPIs and metrics, identifying and implementing areas for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Ensure delivery alignment with the client's digital roadmap and project timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of total experience in IT or telecom, with a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong background and hands-on experience in telecom digital projects, including self-serve platforms, e-commerce solutions, digital ordering systems, and mobile/web applications.
- Proven hands-on experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and leading PI Planning (Program Increment Planning).
- Familiarity and practical experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Scrum certification is mandatory (CSM, SSM, or equivalent).
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Experience working with major telecom operators is highly preferred.
