About the Role:
As a BigID Functional Lead, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of the BigID platform, ensuring its alignment with our client's data privacy strategy and regulatory requirements. You will work hands-on with the technology while collaborating closely with various internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of BigID, encompassing architecture design, connector setup, and module configuration.
- Execute comprehensive data discovery and classification across diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
- Integrate BigID seamlessly with critical enterprise systems, including Active Directory, various cloud storage solutions, databases, and ticketing tools.
- Collaborate effectively with privacy, legal, and IT teams to ensure BigID capabilities meet evolving regulatory requirements.
- Develop custom dashboards, insightful reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meticulously monitor privacy posture and BigID tool performance.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, deliver comprehensive training, and provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and manage upgrades or the rollout of new features within the BigID environment.
Technical Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and deploying the BigID platform across complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of data discovery, classification principles, and relevant global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proven experience integrating BigID with various cloud platforms, diverse databases, and identity management systems.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and strong scripting skills (Python, SQL) for automation and customization.
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS, and fundamental network components.
- Extensive experience with structured RDBMS databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and IBM DB2.
- Solid experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch), message queues, and microservices, preferably within Kubernetes environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on knowledge in working with Linux environments, including installation, network configuration, and bash scripting.
